Ayub Khan is a veteran Indian film producer, director, writer, distributor, and the Founder & CEO of CineDreams Enterprises LLP. With over four decades of experience in the Indian entertainment industry, he has made significant contributions to cinema, television, film distribution, and international film festivals.

His journey in the entertainment industry began in 1981 as a film exhibitor, associated with blockbuster films such as Naseeb, Silsila, Nikaah, Kranti, and several other successful releases. He later entered film distribution with the feature film Triveni, starring Raj Babbar, Suresh Oberoi, Rati Agnihotri, Shakti Kapoor, and an ensemble cast. Since then, he has remained actively involved in film distribution, handling the release of numerous Hindi feature films across India.

Ayub Khan worked as an Assistant Director under the legendary filmmaker Gulzar, contributing to the iconic television series Mirza Ghalib, starring Naseeruddin Shah, Shafi Inamdar, Rajendra Gupta, Amjad Khan, and Tanvi Azmi. He also assisted on the acclaimed film Libaas, featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Raj Babbar, and Shabana Azmi, produced by Vikas Mohan.

As Chief Assistant Director, he worked with director Vinod Sharma on Apradhinee, and with Swaroop Kumar on films including Andha Inteqaam and Zameer Ki Awaaz. He was also associated with director Tony Singh on Zee TV’s popular serial Banegi Apni Baat, and contributed to Vikas Mohan’s Doordarshan television series Kissa Shanti Ka, featuring Raja Bundela, Girja Shankar, Ashvini Bhave, Archana Joglekar, and other renowned artists.

As a Writer and Executive Producer, Ayub Khan was associated with Be-Lagaam – The Lawless. He also served as Executive Producer for Jahan Tum Le Chalo, starring Nirmal Pandey, Sonali Kulkarni, Nirupa Roy, and Jimmy Shergill, with music by Vishal Bhardwaj and lyrics by Gulzar.

He was also the Executive Producer of Anjaane – The Unknown, featuring Manisha Koirala, Sanjay Kapoor, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Ranjeeta, and Pramod Moutho, with choreography by Ahmed Khan and songs rendered by legendary singers Lata Mangeshkar, Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar, and others.

Ayub Khan further expanded his creative and distribution portfolio by serving as the Creative Director and Worldwide Distributor for the Hindi feature film Murder Madhuri, starring Sharat Saxena, Deepshikha, Raza Murad, and Kiran Kumar. He also served as the Creative Director and Worldwide Distributor of the feature film Mussa – The Most Wanted, further strengthening his reputation in international film distribution and creative production.

Throughout his career, Ayub Khan has distributed several feature films, produced documentaries and short films, and directed the internationally acclaimed short film Family First, which received 28 National and International Awards.

Today, Ayub Khan is widely recognized as the Founder and Organizer of prestigious international film festivals, including:

These festivals have become respected platforms for independent filmmakers, emerging talent, and cinematic excellence from around the world.

Upcoming Feature Film

Ayub Khan is currently producing his upcoming Hindi feature film “Shubh Sangam.” The film will be directed by Parag Chhapekar, written by renowned writer Kamlesh Pandey, and is based on a story by Ayub Khan.

The film will be shot across Prayagraj, Lucknow, and other picturesque locations in Uttar Pradesh. The production is presently searching for two talented new male actors to play the lead heroes, one new female actress for the lead heroine, along with several other important characters. Preference will be given to fresh talent from Uttar Pradesh.
